Julian Worricker is currently a presenter for the BBC News Channel’s rolling news and the BBC World Service’s Weekend World Today programme. He has been a familiar voice on BBC radio since 1985 presenting on various programmes across BBC Radio 4, including Any Answers?, You & Yours and Last Word.
Over the years he has reported from around the world on breaking international news stories, covered UK general elections, commentated on Royal events, and announced Ryder Cup and Ashes victories. Julian was entertainingly ‘photobombed’ by the Queen, live on BBC News, when she visited the BBC news room. Over the years he has won several broadcasting and journalism awards.

Martin is a UK Business Leader, who has been Senior Vice President of Tarmac since 2016. He has responsibility for around 7,000 employees and over 400 sites, working as part of the executive team at CRH, a leading global diversified building materials group.
He has over 30 years’ experience in the construction and mineral products sector, with a career that spans a range of leadership positions, including general manager, executive director and board level roles. Martin plays a prominent role in a number of industry and government leadership groups, and is currently the Chairman of the MPA, and Deputy Chair of the Institute of Quarrying (IQ) with a key focus on industry safety standards, competence, skills and education.
He began his career as a Higher Apprentice and is a qualified Highways and Mining Engineer. He is passionate about career development, diversity and youth training.

Nigel Jackson graduated in Geology from King’s College, University of London in 1974 and has 45 years’ experience working in the mining, quarrying, construction, and waste industries in a variety of differing but predominantly senior management roles.
He is currently Chief Executive of the Mineral Products Association, Chairman of the CBI Minerals Group, a founding member of the UK Minerals Forum, a Vice President of the European Aggregates Association and an officer of the Construction Products Association.
He is a Chartered Geologist and Scientist and a Fellow of the Geological Society of London.
